RUBY cleaning belt

Mobile cleaning for your sugar beets

The RUBY cleaning belt for sugar beets is far more than just a transfer aid: it's the crucial logistical link that removes soil and impurities from your beets right in the field. While the harvester works continuously, RUBY transforms your Fliegl push-off trailer into a highly efficient cleaning unit.

The goal: less soil removal, reduced soil deduction at the processing plant, and a significant increase in harvesting efficiency. This way, valuable topsoil stays where it belongs – on your field.

Cleaning Instead of Just Loading

Clean yields through active separation. At the heart of RUBY is a 1,000 mm-wide cleaning belt. With a slat spacing of 50 mm, it effectively removes clinging soil and small debris right during the loading process. Instead of transporting valuable topsoil to the factory, it stays where it belongs: directly in the field. This improves your delivery quality while reducing hauling costs and soil deductions.

Logistics Without Downtime

A continuous harvest flow at up to 750 tons per hour. RUBY acts as the key logistical link that keeps your harvester moving. With a discharge capacity of up to 15 m³/min (approx. 750 t/h), the ASW unloads the harvester’s bunker on the go. No stopping, no waiting at the stockpile. This continuous harvesting process significantly increases daily output and makes your operation less dependent on weather conditions.

Soil Protection & Flexibility

Heavy trucks stay on solid ground. Thanks to the extended reach of the transfer conveyor and the hydraulically adjustable discharge height (1.5 m to 4.0 m), trucks can be loaded directly from the field edge. Heavy transport vehicles no longer need to enter the field. The ASW, equipped with soil-friendly wide tires and integrated axle stabilization, ensures minimal ground pressure while allowing you to build perfectly shaped stockpiles up to 10 meters wide.

Engineered for Continuous Operation

Rugged, intuitive, and fully integrated. RUBY is built for professionals. The system is based on proven Fliegl push-off technology.

  • Control: Standard monitoring camera provides a clear view of the transfer point.
  • Operation: Intuitive electro-hydraulic control of all functions via a central switching valve.
  • Protection: Despite its high cleaning performance, the belt design ensures gentle handling of the beets.

Maximum cleanliness, minimum costs

  • Active Cleaning: Reduces soil content directly during loading with the large-scale cleaning belt.

  • Higher Returns: Fewer deductions from the sugar factory thanks to cleaner beets upon delivery.

  • Non-Stop Harvesting: On-the-go unloading enables maximum utilization of the beet harvester without downtime.

  • Optimized Logistics: Fast loading of truck combinations directly at the field edge or precise formation of wide stockpiles.

  • Sustainable Soil Protection: Heavy haulage vehicles stay on solid roads, while the ASW handles in-field transport with minimal soil impact.

  • Reduced Transport Costs: You’re hauling beets—not soil—saving trips and fuel.

Efficiency every second

RUBY uses the transport flow to perform integrated pre-cleaning. The harvested crop is metered from the push-off trailer onto the 1,000 mm-wide beet conveyor. With a slat spacing of 50 mm, soil and loose impurities are effectively screened out while the beets are gently transported to their destination.

With a discharge capacity of up to 15 m³/min (approx. 750 t/h), RUBY empties the trailer in very little time. The electro-hydraulic control system allows precise adjustment of discharge height and reach—even under challenging working conditions.
