THE FLIEGL SEMI-TRAILER TIPPER

The Story

EFFICIENT AND VERSATILE: FLIEGL SEMI-TRAILER TIPPER IN COMBINED TRANSPORT

Along with push-off trailers, a tipper has now also joined the product range of the Fliegl semi-trailer fleet. The ZHKA 350 semi-trailer dumper is based on a lightweight yet powerful design for maximum transport efficiency.

Fliegl Agrartechnik is therefore expanding its range of trailers with a semi-trailer dumper.

The ZHKA 350 is an innovative 2-axle, rear-tipping semi-trailer featuring an aluminium body along with a range of features designed to offer optimum performance and maximum versatility. With a permissible total weight of approx. 31 tonnes and an unladen weight of approx. 6 tonnes (depending on equipment), the ZHKA 350 boasts a highly impressive payload.

The curved chassis front in nova-grey is particularly eye-catching thanks to the complete absence of corners and edges. It not only saves weight, to the benefit of the payload, but also stabilises the chassis since vertical forces are combined to optimum effect and transferred to the fifth-wheel coupling plate. On the underside of the curved chassis is a steel guide which simplifies the hitching process and prevents damage. The rounded shape also facilitates manoeuvring since the lack of corner areas provides more freedom of movement for the towing vehicle.

The aluminium box body is 9300 mm long and features a conical shape, meaning that it widens to the rear. This assists when unloading all manner of agricultural transport goods. Even wet materials such as manure and silage can slide off with ease. Thanks to the rear panel with rubber seals and turnbuckles as well as the grain hatches with dimensions of 400 x 400 mm, the ZHKA 350 is compatible with a wide range of transport goods, including grain and even rapeseed as well as wet loads such as manure.

The body is tightly sealed all-round so that no liquid can escape. Particularly noteworthy is the swing-mounted rear panel with double-action hinge and dual hook locks, which enables lateral compensation of up to 300 mm along with rapid unloading.

The air suspension with lowering function ensures optimum ride comfort on the road. The lowering function combined with the wide spring centre brought about by the rigid axles ensures utmost stability during tipping. The lowering function for tipping operations can also be deactivated. An adjustment lever for lifting and lowering enables active control of the air suspension. Depending on the speed configuration, the rigid axles are fitted with 600/55 R26.5 for 60 km/h or 24 R20.5 for 80 km/h. 

To secure the transported loads, the ZHKA 350 features a rolling tarp with  Platform  as standard. The standing Platform at the front of the Fliegl semi-trailer tipper is bolted directly to the sleeve of the tipping cylinder. This causes the Platform to swing back over the fifth-wheel plate when tipped, thereby reducing the forward protrusion over the kingpin. The compressed air and electrical connections are mounted on the Platform, allowing the driver to establish the connections while standing. Fliegl is the only manufacturer to position the connections where the driver can reach them without having to crawl underneath the vehicle.

An optional TopLift light hydraulic folding roof is also available. The folding roof serves as a quick and simple cover for silage and wood chips and, depending on the equipment option, can be operated directly from the driver's seat via remote control. 

The ZHKA 350 is the answer to the increasing demands for efficient agricultural transport. It represents the perfect addition to the product range of Fliegl Agrartechnik GmbH in the area of agro trucks and serves as a more affordable alternative to push-off semi-trailers.
