Fliegl Agrartechnik GmbH presents the Fliegl SKATEMASTER 300
Fliegl Agrartechnik is going further and expanding its product range in the area of trailing shoe distributors with the SKATEMASTER 300 with a working width of 30 meters. This product is based on the proven principle of the screw distributor and boasts some remarkable features.
The heart of the SKATEMASTER 300 is its sophisticated design, which distributes the forces perfectly across the boom and middle section. With 6 screw distributors, 6 storage boxes for foreign body collection and 6 section widths, this model has an optimal distribution system. The excellent ground adaptation is achieved by an excellent pendulum compensation, which enables a floating position for each extension arm. With a transport width of 3000 mm and selectable working widths of 30 meters, as well as folding back to 21 meters, the SKATEMASTER 300 offers impressive flexibility. Additional working widths are also possible via individual hose shut-off.
Thoroughly impressive
The slurry goes to a distribution box that is fed via an 8-inch pipe. From there it is directed into the individual sections, which are equipped with a total of 6 auger distribution boxes. In this model, these boxes are also made of durable stainless steel, which promises a long service life even in intensive practical use. Foreign bodies are selected by the integrated screws in the storage boxes provided.
The construction of the linkage was so sophisticated that the struts are arranged in a spiral structure. This means that all resulting forces can be optimally distributed evenly on both distribution arms and the middle section of the SKATEMASTER 300.
What was important to the designer when developing the SKATEMASTER 300 was the implementation of tidy hose routing for all lines - both slurry-carrying lines and hydraulic lines.
The Story
For effective, ground-level manure spreading
Another very positive aspect, known from the smaller models, is the perfect insertion at the edge of the field - without a large “start-up V”. This feature is particularly important for ensuring an even supply of plants. All 120 drain hoses are supplied with manure in a very short time. The line or feather spacing is 250 mm. The SKATEMASTER 300 is equipped with the well-known and proven comfort control from Fliegl, which can of course also be operated via ISOBUS. To make it easy to empty the storage boxes, the sliders can be easily opened from the tractor cab - the accumulated foreign bodies are easily removed from the system.
The inner four sections of the SKATEMASTER 300 are identical and each represent a working width of 5.25 meters, the outer two 4.5 meters. By folding back the outer elements, the working width can be reduced to 21 meters without any overhang. When using the inner two sections for distribution, the application is 10.5 meters.
With the integration of an individual hose switch-off, the following working widths can be implemented in addition to the 30, 21 and 10.5 meters: 15 meters, 18 meters and 24 meters. This makes the distributor an extremely flexible tool for effective, ground-level manure distribution.
