THE FLIEGL PLANT IN MÜHLDORF

THE HEART OF FLIEGL AGRARTECHNIK

The Fliegl plant in Mühldorf am Inn is the central production and competence center of Fliegl Agrartechnik GmbH, which unites the divisions of agricultural technology, construction and municipal technology, and dosing technology. On a 30-hectare site, around 350 employees, including 30 apprentices, work on the production of robust and durable agricultural machinery for farmers and contractors.

The teams here work with efficient warehouse logistics, well-thought-out production processes, and modern manufacturing technology – designed for high volumes, individual customer requirements, and robust, durable machines that reliably master daily use.

PRECISION MANUFACTURING FOR DURABLE AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY

Manufacturing at Fliegl Agrartechnik in Mühldorf ensures that farmers receive reliable and long-lasting machinery. All components are manufactured with the highest precision and meet the demands of daily field use - robust, stable, and dependable.

Careful manufacturing results in high-quality components that flow directly into the production of the machinery. This allows farmers and contractors to benefit from structurally stable, durable equipment that functions reliably even under demanding conditions.

The raw material warehouse at the Mühldorf site covers around 9,000 m² and houses up to 6,000 tons of steel, ready for the production of agricultural machinery components.

Modern laser systems, including tube lasers and high-tech sheet metal laser systems, are used for the production of components. Even complex shapes and special components can be cut precisely.

The tube laser systems process profiles up to 9 meters in length and 6,000 kilograms in weight, ensuring that both series components and individual pieces are manufactured reliably. The tube lasers operate with 6,000 watts of power and complete the cutting process quickly, accurately, and reproducibly.

Furthermore, the high-tech sheet metal laser precisely cuts metal sheets up to 40 mm thick. An automatic loading and unloading system processes sheet metal bundles of up to 10,000 kilograms into perfectly fitting individual parts. This results in stable, resilient, and maintenance-friendly components that are crucial for the longevity of the agricultural machinery.

EFFICIANT WAREHOUSE LOGISTICS

The warehouse logistics at Fliegl Agrartechnik in Mühldorf ensures high material availability and an efficient supply to the production lines.

Tire Warehouse: The tire warehouse, including the outdoor area, stores over 25,000 tires and 25,000 rims. The tires are mounted directly at the plant and assigned to the respective orders, ensuring that farmers and contractors are quickly supplied with the appropriate tires.

Axle Warehouse: In the outdoor area, the axles are stored in a simple aisle warehouse, where each row corresponds to one axle type. A total of approximately 6,000 axles are kept in stock here.

High-Bay Warehouse: The high-bay warehouse is compactly structured and comprises a storage volume of over 27,000 m³, enabling high storage capacity and an efficient material flow. It consists of three storage systems:

  • Pallet and skeleton container storage with a load capacity of 1,200 kg
  • Large pallet storage with a load capacity of up to 4 tons
  • Racking system with a height of up to 6 m

A total of 16,000 pallet spaces are available at heights of up to 27 m. The system operates fully automatically and ensures a clear process, fast access, and reliable availability of production elements.

SITE HISTORY & COMPETENCE

For many years, the management, design, and production of the agricultural machinery sector were concentrated at the Töging am Inn site. More than 2,300 vehicles were manufactured annually on a factory site covering around 90,000 m².

In 2013, the company moved to Mühldorf am Inn, where today all activities are combined at one high-performance location.
